Su caserío se sitúa en una soleada ladera en la margen izquierda del río Iregua en la confluencia con su afluente el río Santos, como llaman en el lugar al Albercos, que surge del embalse de Ortigosa. Sobre el pueblo, la iglesia domina las construcciones tradicionales, y al otro lado del río hay un interesante espacio de ocio y devocional.

Es un enclave importante para continuar por la cuenca alta del río Iregua o tomar su afluente y reconocer otros lugares de gran atractivo turístico.

En el pueblo hubo importantes talleres artesanales dedicados a actividades textiles, tintes,
molinos harineros y otras instalaciones fabriles movidas por el agua de sus ríos.

Its farm is located on a sunny slope on the left bank of the Iregua River, at the confluence with its tributary, the Santos River, as they call “Albercos”, which rises from the Ortigosa reservoir. Over the town, the church dominates the traditional constructions and, on the other side of the river, there is an interesting leisure and devotional space.
