Torrecilla en Cameros

El viajero ante la visita a esta villa tiene sensación de capitalidad. De hecho, es la Cabecera de la Comarca y el centro de los Cameros.

Sobre el pueblo, la sierra del Serradero que separa este valle del río Najerilla. Varios templos que denotan otros tantos barrios, como los de Campillo, San Martín y Barruelo, siendo el único pueblo serrano con asentamiento en las dos orillas del río.

De tradición industrial y ganadera, son numerosos los edificios religiosos, casas solariegas, palacios y escudos que inundan el núcleo urbano y que nos hablan de una historia plagada de hijos ilustres y de un esplendoroso pasado.

Torrecilla en Cameros

While visiting this town, the traveller feels it as a capital. 
In fact, it is Head of the County and centre of the Cameros.
On the town, the Serradero mountain range separates this valley from the Najerilla River. Several temples denote other neighbourhoods, such as those of Campillo, Saint Martin and Barruelo, being the only Serrano town with settlements on both banks of the river.

Of industrial and livestock tradition, there are many religious buildings, manor houses, palaces and shields that flood the urban centre and tell us about a history full of illustrious sons and a splendid past.
