Descripción

Tradition says that a village was built in this place in the past, of which only the parish church remains, now established as a chapel. The findings in nearby excavations show that it was a settlement in Celtiberian and Roman times.
The chapel, located over the Iregua River, is fenced by a wall and its gate. It is a building that benefited from the walls of a previous one and that was built in 1760. There are Baroque carvings of different sizes and paintings inside. Every 8th September they celebrate its festivity with a procession to the village, accompanied by dances. The Virgin of Villar is the Patroness of Pradillo.
