A proposal, for those who enjoy trekking, is to walk along this Long Distance Trail, which gives us the opportunity to get to know the region of the Iregua River at its highest point. Starting from Anguiano, this beautiful path leads us to Ortigosa (18 km), crossing Nieva and El Rasillo through beech forests, pastures and oak groves. In a new stage, it crosses the upper basin of the Iregua River and heads towards the Cameros Viejo (Old Cameros), specifically to Laguna de Cameros, where we find the Leza River.
The signposting is perfect and allows visiting spaces of great interest: chapels, uninhabited places, gorges or farms, among others. It is a proposal that does not involve any difficulty with stages adapted to different capabilities. We can find lodging and restaurants along the itinerary.
