Pinillos, due to its isolation and depopulation, has retained the traditional architecture of the Cameros Nuevo (New Cameros), combining constructions that use masonry stone on its first floor and reddish mud coming from nearby areas (that give the farmhouse that characteristic colour) on the next ones.
The structure that supports all the floors is made of x-shaped oak wood that holds all the walls. The upper part of the house served for the storage of the grain and the drying of the fruits, and the ground floor housed the work team and the sheep, apart from the rest of the animals used for feeding. The kitchen, on the first floor, is projected to the outside by the bulky shape of the ovens for baking bread.
