El Rasillo de Cameros

The migas (breadcrumbs)

‘If you bring the pan, oil, bread, garlic and paprika, you’ll see between the two, what good breadcrumbs we do”. This song-recipe book of one of the pastoral dishes of the Cameros, has maintained the simple way of cooking a humble but tasty dish.
During their trips to Extremadura (Spain) and during their stay in those sunny lands, the shepherds used to cook this dish every morning for breakfast. Today, we can only taste it at mountain parties.
