Ortigosa de Cameros

Portales (Arcades) Street owes its name to the constructions that protected the pedestrians, were winter meeting spaces and also provided shade during the summer.
In this Street, they erected buildings with masonry lower floors protected by ashlar stone corners. On the upper floors, the adobe and logs framework raises the upper walls to the Arab tile roof, often held by stones to protect it from the wind.
